WARNING HURRICANE GRACE

The path for Hurricane Grace in the Atlantic comes our way arriving slightly south of us past midnight on Wednesday 18th and passing around noon Thursday. It is now Category 1 with sustained winds of 50 mph moving at 15 mph.  Being in warm waters it could increase strength and category in the next 36 hours as well as changing its path further south.

We must be prepared for heavy rains and strong winds during 8 hours beginning around 2am Thursday from the NE and changing towards East and South as it passes above us.  Avoid parking cars underneath large trees, store outside furniture and utensils that may fly, and secure windows and doors.

Hurricane may be more dangerous at sea than on land.  Our marinas will receive all navy vessels, all ferry boats and as many private yachts as possible within safety standards.

We Will Post a New Update Tomorrow Morning With 12 Hour Margin to Prepare.
