UPDATE ON HURRICANE DELTA

Delta a rapidly intensifying hurricane is the worst to strike our area in the last 15 years since Wilma with sustained winds of 140 mph. It is in every sense a dangerous storm that will cost catastrophic damage to electrical power, structures, and vegetation.

Its path maintained a NNW direction moving slightly towards the west which brings it closer to us between Cancún and Playa.

The timing is still for first winds around 10pm and strongest gushes now show between 2 and 8 am. It now shows surge in higher tides and heavy rain for late Wednesday.
